JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

The VVT does not cut off the cylinders (that's MDS), the VVT will shift over the cam to open the valves to give the motor more horsepower

AND, Yes you can fill it shift over it's a little kick in the pants

As far as fuel #'s...it is better than the old 5.7 and 6.1 but every Jeep is different because of weight; gears; size of tires, however the last JK was a Rubi and when it was dropped off it was getting 14.8 and after the 5.7 VVT was put in during the test stage it went up to 14.9. Around town testing was getting 13.2 to 14.

All in All you do get the better fuel economy and when you need or want it you get the power very close to the 6.1

I almost forgot, the 6.1L cost a little more and needs synthetic 0W-40 oil and the 5.7L just needs 5W-20

Ever toy with the idea of doing an LS9 conversion?? Same cost as a HEMI.. That'd be my motor of choice if I was to do a swap..

Very cool like everything else I've seen in your shop. Thanks for the schooling on hemi swaps in general and the challenges of the 6 sp w/ the hemi. Definantly reinforces the idea of going S/C instead

Have you come up with a resolution over the heating issue?
