I bought enough metal to do the front and rear bumper. Most of it went in the rear and tire carrier. These are approximate cause I didn't keep all my receipts.

20 ft. 3/16 X 8" flat $78
10 ft. 1/4" X 6" flat $41 for top of bumper
10 ft. 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 angle $17
5 ft. 5" X 3" angle scrap @ $.25/ pound $11.25
10 ft. 2 X 2 square tubing $25
10 ft. 2 X 3 rect. tubing $30
$15 misc scraps @ $.25/ pound

I had a lot of metal left over. Probably could have done both bumpers for one third less, but I wanted extra for my next project.

That looks freaking awesome! I wish I could work with metal and make a bumper but I know mine would not end up anything like that... Looks very sturdy too.

I ordered Raptor bedliner from an EBAY store. $110 with shipping. Excellent coverage with one coat. Used only about one and a half bottles. Comes with the gun too. I used the cheap stuff in a can on my rock sliders. The Raptor is far far superior and has a lot more texture. We'll see if the stuff holds up this winter.

Did you put a bearing on the bottom of the tire carrier? Or did you just make it out of two pieces of tubing?
