The carpet is a rubber backed marine flooring carpet. That way for any reason it got wet there would be no smell. Give me by tomorrow and ill give you the name of the adhesive. Also it cost me 100$ 
you can get everything at home depot i recommend two man crew on it. The smell of the paint and the glue only last about a week. PLUS NO MORE FINGER PRINT MARKS ON THE WHITE. Drove me crazy

Yes it was really easy to work with. Its 6700 flooring/carpet adhesive. You can find it in the same isle that the rugs are in at home depot or lows. dont forget to buy something you can spread it with cause it does come in a bucket. Good Luck
