There is a JK with a cummins engine in it. One of the magazines did it I believe, although I would not call it a JK. It actually was a Dodge Ram 3/4 or 1 ton chassis cut down to fit under a JK body.
I don't think the stock frame could handle the size, weight, and torque of the full size diesel engine and trans combinations, that is why they cut down and used the Ram chassis.
I could be wrong though, I am sure there is someone who has or will try this in due time.

And it required them cutting the firewall out entirely. No way a 6BT would fit into a streetable JK, its WAY too long. now a 4BT would probably fit. But you would need to either put a real D44 up front (not the hybrid D44 from a rubicon with the D30 tubes and shafts) or a D60 to handle the weight of the engine. The 4BT weighs a bit over 700 lbs (nearly double that of the 3.8L V6) and the 6BT wighs almost 1200 lbs.

I read about that build in the magazine. Killer write-up (and an awsome Jeep), but lots of $$, even with doing your own fab work. It would probably be 1/3 the cost to do a 6.1L Hemi swap.
