No compromise did it with his huge build, just put it in the rear cargo area. He has a special tank though so be sure to get the exact details from him for safety precautions

relocated gas tank
Gen-Right has just released a 20 gallon aluminum "Crawler" tank that mounts in the back, where the factory muffler goes. It cost less that 900 bucks and it includes a skid plate and it uses the fatory location for the filler and everything. You can also use it for an auxillary tank if you just want to extend your mileage. I want want one bad, but I'm stuck in Iraq and I'm sure my wife don't want a gas tank sitting around the house for the next year. some people don't see a need for a 4x4 jeep or a need to ever remove the top.
