I don't think it will pass state inspection that way. Might want to check with a shop that does state inspections. If I remember right, it has to end past the axle or come out of the side of the body, behind the passenger compartment, but it's been a while since I've read up on it.

Crash... did you ever do anything to your cooling system after that trip to Barnwell where you ripped off your snorkle? Cause I swear there was antifreeze steaming out that day. It sure smelled like it. I was just wondering if maybe you have been having a cooling system issue for a while now?

Well, hell.
Finished exhaust.
Replaced idler pulley.
Installed driver seat.
Went to shift, shifter won't budge.
Shifter finally slides back and forth, but no vehicle movement. I step on the gas and it lurches a little. Then again. Transmission not catching at all.
Decide to try to drive a block.
It dies on a bridge In the valley of a 2 lane rd in an area with no lights. .
All dash lights on. Every last one.
Pushed it mostly off of the road past the bridge. All uphill.
On foot now. Not one of these jerks will stop to give me a lift. Ugh.
Jeep dead again.
Advice?
