I don't think it will pass state inspection that way. Might want to check with a shop that does state inspections. If I remember right, it has to end past the axle or come out of the side of the body, behind the passenger compartment, but it's been a while since I've read up on it.

Russ, I was thinking the same thing. But if that was the case he would have had issuses before the big swim. Hell that was back in March. With the heat of the summer things IMO would have popped up before now. Just my

Well, hell.

Finished exhaust.
Replaced idler pulley.
Installed driver seat.
Went to shift, shifter won't budge.
Shifter finally slides back and forth, but no vehicle movement. I step on the gas and it lurches a little. Then again. Transmission not catching at all.
Decide to try to drive a block.
It dies on a bridge In the valley of a 2 lane rd in an area with no lights. .
All dash lights on. Every last one.
Pushed it mostly off of the road past the bridge. All uphill.
On foot now. Not one of these jerks will stop to give me a lift. Ugh.

Jeep dead again.

Advice?

Comfy shoes

I'd love to buy you a beer for all you've been through with Tonka. You've almost got it pegged, then something else happens.
