Ok.
As seafoam was 10, and heet was 2, I was stuck using the latter. We will see how it does.
I followed the odor, and attempted to identify it.
My best guess is burning mud in the exhaust.
It may be time to replace it. I will see what I can rig, since I can't quite afford to do what I planned in my exhaust thread.
As for the pulley, it might be easier to fork out the 20, then to mess with the dealer and the wait.
More good news...since I'm out of business, I was able to return 2 5gal drums if roofing tar. I couldn't get cash, but got lowes credit.
It got us Christmas lights for our tree and 7 cans of sprayliner (for my tub).

Bedlined the interior today.
Everything on the Jeep will be better and badder this time around.
Though I do believe a rename is in order, as previously discussed on this thread.
I AM RETIRING THE TONKA MONIKER.
More good news (maybe)...
Bushwacker says they'll cover the fender if I can hunt down my proof of purchase.
I'll never find it.
I'm gonna send them the pics they want, and cross my fingers.

no, because its funny (and you have a short (2dr) yellow Jeep). I'm not going to hate on you like everyone else did. I think its cool that your willing to take your very expensive Jeep and beat the hell out of it. I'm a big sissy and I'm afraid I might scratch my paint.
I'm going to climb the parking curbs at the mall now. K BYE
edit:I've been know to tear a few toys up myself

I'm glad to see you are moving forward Crash. You should start a new thread to reveal the new name and follow the build. I can't wait to see what you come up with this time around.
Edit: if you change the color of your JK, you need to change the color of your posts as well. I got used to associating any yellow post with you and Tonka.

Yeah, definitely the Yellow Submarine... I give you all the credit man. Taking that rig places I wouldn't have the balls to take mine. I'm glad things are turning around and I wish you the best getting Tonka back up and running and back to normal again.

I still vote for "Phoenix", favorite mythical creature of all time
Golden, rose from its own grave, only one can live at a time(meaning yours is unique.) I love it, such a beautiful creature
Egyptian mythological bird of gorgeous plumage, sacred to the sun, reborn from the ashes of the funeral pyre which it made for itself
The phoenix, originating in the mythology of ancient Egypt, has become a universal symbol of rebirth and the most famous of all fabulous birds. Clad in feathers of red and gold, the color of the rising sun, it had a melodious voice that became mournful with approaching death. Other creatures were then so overcome by its beauty and sadness that they themselves fell dead. According to legend, only one phoenix could live at a time.
