Sorry, but this struck me as hysterical!

Good luck with the fix. Maybe a few days to dry out will help a lot. Otherwise, a call to the insurance agent may be in order. (Take the skull off first though)

UPDATE, PEOPLE!
Apparently the rockclimbing that destroyed my step and tore up my rim also shook loose the airbox, snapping off all 3 pegs.
that means my silicone filled holes went with them.
no water from skull to airbox, plenty from box to intake manifold.
plugs are coming out in a bit and we'll see what the damage is.

this does not change the fact that i still have an electrical problem, it just adds to it.

um, ill take that drink now.

can you put a ratchet on the front pully and turn the motor? That will let you know if you are hydro locked or not....

it did not die. it just wouldnt restart on dry land.
If it didn't die on it's own, then I wouldn't think it'd be hydrolocked. (or however you spell it.)

Crash, thank goodness your son was ok. That was the first thing I thought of. Hopefully, just before things went south he was wearing a big cheesy grin and yelling GO!

But here's what you need to do. When you get to SEMA, get with Camp and start slippin him hard drinks while you stick with light beer. After he passes out, get the keys to the Lynx off of him. As soon as you get it driven home, paint it yellow and no one will ever know.

To be serious, though. If it turns out that there's going to be a lot of work that you're going to have to do on your own, let us know. I'm only a couple of hours away and have the basic tools (hand and air) that I can haul to East Texas.

That sucks man, goodluck with it. Last time I went to shiloh (back in 1999 or 2000) I trashed my transfercase, overheated, and limped home on my spare. I hope your issues are minimal dude.

The first mod after the Tonka is resuscitated is a propeller.

This thread will never be the same without the Tonka. But, lets say worse comes to worse and the Tonka is out for the count; you can be one of the first with a diesel. This guy is thinking about getting rid of his that he bought converted:

Sorry again. This is a sad day for the JK community. Hang in there buddy!
