It was up for debate, some were saying blue, some were saying channel.
Turns out they are very similar.
In younger specimens, its fairly easy because of the spots, while spots are obscured in older ones.
anyway..skipping to the end, we had to count rays on the anal fin to determine species.
Its a Channel cat.

Did it start up and die right away, or did you shut it off because it was making loud noises?

I wouldn't worry about noises they're likely go away. Could be just some screeching from rust on some pulley or something benign like that.
Ive charged it, cleared codes, and its still spotty....and the same codes pop up again. Voltage tests at 12.2v, which should be fine..
also, bigger noises are gone, but I do have screeching now....sounds like compressor pulley.

SKIM is your sentry key. That probably means the computer doesn't remember your key and it needs to be reprogrammed or your key is bad.

anybody know where I can find instructions on how to bypass this?
the way I see it, its just a box with a chip to acknowledge the chips presence.
If it is all run through one harness, I should be able to jump harness points to make it think it was there.

I blinked and you got Tonka started?!? Nice work Crash. I know you have a long way to go but it sounds like you confirmed the motor wasn't locked which is great considering your airbox and Snorkskull got separated.
