Ive decided that instead of going inside when I need a break from the disappointment of my inability to fix the jeep, Im gonna do other mods.
I know its good to walk away from things for a little bit when they arent going your way. First backup mod will be a rear 1.75" lift....but hopefully I wont ever get to it...I hope to be able to focus on the task at hand.

I dont know about anyone else (though I think many people on here feel the same way) but working on my jeep is leisure time, it is "me time", you know, something that makes me happy. I do it when I am fed-up with other things that are bothering me.
So If its a certain thing on your jeep that is bothering you, do another mod that will make you happy, or, if youre feeling up to it, work on one of those sweet home mades that make us all happy and inspired

Dude.... If I can give you a little advise... I say dont take on more projects. Just start eating on the elephant you have. Take it one small bite at a time and before you know it the thing is gone. Break it down into small little pieces and work your way through. Concentrate on getting it to start first and go from there. Don't get sidetracked with something else though until it is back to running. Just my opinion.

thanks brother, but I cant focus on singular projects.
Its the strange way that my brain works
even in school, if i tried to concentrate on the lesson, I learned very little....if I drew the whole time while visiting and creating while the professor taught, I retained all information and aced every exam.
I overthink everything if its all Im zoned in on.
Anyway, so I always have to be thinking about more than one thing.
Like right now, im typing this, looking for wire codes for the column, learning the difference between a Channel catfish and a Blue catfish, watching The Office, and texting my wife.

Everyone has an open invitation to come down on any sunday to help.
Im not sure what good more people will do working all at once, but my knowledge of this vehicle and its problems is limited, so experience and technical advice would be helpful.
Everyone is also welcome to come and not help.
You can cheer me on, make fun of me when I cant fix it, or just hang out.
We will be cooking this for anyone who is hungry:

So.. Is the starter on the drivers side, kinda high behind a heat shield?
I don't have a tear down diagram, and don't want to just start ripping apart heat shields.
Column is apart now, cleaned connectors and blew out mud and leaves. Broke lower housing, but don't care. Also a small box holding a computer chip with two copper antenna looking wires fell apart. What is it? Key sensor maybe?
