I was wondering when he gets it. Saw him and Brock cruise n the Mercedes Saturday. Don't worry Camp I take lots of photo's. Hey can't you throw Crash a bone and help him out? Do you still have any parts left that he can use off the Linx? Hell knows you gutted it.

Take everything electric off of it and put it in the house every day spend a few minuites blow drying everything even get some rice and spread it around to try and absorb all contaminents.
Clean every connection and spray with contact cleaner
I have done this with a 93 4Runner with the V6 and when I put everything back together she fired right up, only threw a couple dash lights for a couple days and they went out on there own.
Also i was just thinking could you not go get a universal OBD II scan tool for like $150 plug it in and just turn your key to ON then maybe it would tell you what sensors are not working

I wanted to address a few things.
I feel from everyone asking about our safety that some people may think we were in danger.
What happened is we crossed a big puddle a few times, the cab filled with water, but it still floated too much for us to move very quickly.
We are still moving in all of the photos posted.
(yes that was my second time through there)
My son was never in danger, nor was he even scared.
He thought it was cool that water was rushing in the floor.
His booster seat kept him above most of the water.
As for those who think it was stupid...
OF COURSE IT WAS STUPID!
almost everything we do in our Jeeps is stupid.
Most extreme activities are just that.
If it was intelligent and tame, it wouldnt be much fun.
All of you "smart" people have fun at the mall.
I will continue to make my children happy and have fun with them.
Material things can be repaired and replaced.
True, it will be a lot of work to fix my Jeep.
and Im sure it wont be cheap.
But my son has a birthday story he will remember forever...
A great time with his dad when they turned a Jeep into a boat.

Sorry to hear about this. I haven't been on the forum much the past couple weeks, so I just found out. Actually found this thread b/c I was going to post in the "what did you do this week" thread. Saw your clean pics.
I love the above post. Memories like that are priceless. Can't believe people are talking shit on this thread. Condolences and offers for help are all we should be seeing.
Please keep us posted on the resurrection. When you get it up and running again, you will love it that much more.

I would start with the computer, I don't really know how well the PCBs in the JKs are sealed but you may get away with taking the board out of its box and letting it dry. If they are poorly sealed, just like a PC, if it gets wet with a current running through it may be toast. Look for any black marring (electrical burn) or melted solder.
