Hey Crash (or anyone else)

What did you use to make them swing?

i got sections of threaded rod, bent them at 90degree angles, put nuts on either side through the PVC, and double nuts to rest on top of hinge slot.

Awesome. Thanks!

Any chance of a close up shot and one of the latch/magnet mechanism?

Cheers!

yeah! I'd love to see the hinges and the latch mechanism up close. I'm thinking that this can be my next project.

Love it!

Sorry guys.
They're packed while I'm in the middle of a move. I'll try to get pics as soon as they're unpacked, along with measurements for each piece.

Great idea and they look awesome! How do they hold up at freeway speed?

Crash looks good!

You know what would be fun? An "Oh Sh!#" handle on the door. My arm rests on the door top and instead of my hand laying flat on the door (palm down), it's always sideways (pinkie down) so if there was an "Oh Sh!#" handle where my hand is, I'd have something to hold onto. Dunno...odd I guess. Guess I could hold onto the top bend and stop being a girl LOL!

How are the magnets coming along?

Howdy Crash, I am needing to make some half doors on a college budget, and love your PVC method. I don't suppose you can PM me the measurements of your doors as they are now? Along with the size and length of the threaded bolts? I'm sure I can use my extra Toggle Ball Bungees for latches that I've got left over after my screen door bikini top.

Thank you
