I've been looking around for some new tires and decided on the Cooper Discoverer STT Pros.
While calling around today I found a shop that had the Pros for $298/piece (295/70) but also had the STT for $200/piece.
Thoughts?

I originally liked the STT a little more but the Pros have really grown on me the more I've read.

As far as I know, the STT's have been discontinued, so what they are trying to sell you is likely old stock.

Pretty sure Ryan is correct on this, if you feel that you may need to replace one tire may want to go with the PROs

They are discontinued as Ryan mentioned, the Pros replaced the STTs.
Good point red2010rubi, hadn't even thought about that.
I would much rather the Pros but called a shop today and they offered the STT for under 180/pc...for 315/70s
