Typically you destroy the cheap rubber bushings and the front end starts making noise.

Why would you need a lift? Just disconnect and you could go right over that little snow pile!!!

Sagging has nothing to do with stuffing your rear tire up into the fender. You're stuffed because your leveling kit didn't contain the rear bumpstops like most 2.5" kits do. If you're rubbing then add bumpstops, otherwise disco and flex out to see what you really need...

So you had me wondering about the pinch seam so I put it back up on the bank. My tire was hitting the inner fender this time, but I was still about 1.5-2" away from the pinch seam.

You won't come anywhere near the pinch seam with your 285s. Ive had mine flexed out with my front sway bar disco'd and didn't hit it. And thats with my 2.5inch teraflex coil lift. But yes Aaron you do need a lift
