Default chopped my front stock bumper on the weekend

My son and I chopped the front stock bumper on the weekend and made it a stubby. I cut the ends off the front bumper and used the AEV end caps to clean it up. We also trimmed the wings off that front plastic air dam on the front as well. My little guy loves working on the jeep and is already asking what the next project is going to be..

You should probably just rip the air dam off

I just did the same thing, using the VDP caps...

I removed the airdam already and much prefer the look with it gone

This is a simple and inexpensive mod. Your Jeep looks great.

The more Jeeps I seen done this way the more I like this option (until I can afford a new front bumper)

Building great memories while building up your jeep. Can't beat that! I love when my kids help too. My daughter helped me extend my breathers. She knows more about the jeep than some adults.

Is there s difference between ADV and VDP? They look the same from what I can tell.

Thinking about this too, especially as my stock has a tree ding on the drivers side!

Any disadvantages? What's the downside of removing the air dam?

Guess I should really put some real protection down there, any recommendations with the stock bumper?
