16 hrs? Thats it? C'mon, they have to re-paint the patches and everything else. I bet its ALOT more time than that.

repaint the patches ??

at best all they have to paint is the rear wall...and maybe the freedom panels.

add another 500 for the spray in bed liner & how much more to paint the back window/wall ? certainly not $20k worth !

I can tell you having sat in & seen the one in brenham....there is surprisingly little space behind the front seats....
the space behind the seats is QUICLY consumed w/ a SLIGHT recline of the front seats or positioning of the seat as far back as possible.

Don't forget the front tube bumper. It also has side steps and a rear bumper/tire carrier. I did speak with them about it and was told they took one of the more expensive Jeeps to do the JK-8 on. Apparently it had color matched fenders and top, which already made the base price of the Jeep pretty expensive.

If you look online the estimated install time says 12-16 hours. I've heard that it really isn't that difficult of an install and that it all comes together pretty easily. Of course, I've never done one, so that is just what I've heard

I went back the next day on the way home from work and it was sold that quick. I checked it out tho it was pretty cool I don't know if I would do the conversion or not but I was pretty cool to see so I figured I would pass along the photo.
When I rolled my Sahara in Aug I went looking for another 2010 JKU that already had some mods done to it cause I just lost the money I dumped into the Sahara and the parts weren't salvageable. I musta found 4 or 5 rubicons converted to this with lifts bumpers winches.... U name it each one was decked out, but NONE had a tag of $60k....2 of them were under 30k. Pretty cool, just not my cup of tea.

i took those into account in my earlier math.

if you look at the interior of the brenham one....its an 4 door sport/automatic NOT a rubicon....the pictures of the dash show the BASE radio, no NAV etc.

I don't think 5K equals all the extras on the Jeep, but I also don't think that the jeep should cost 60K. But who knows, maybe somebody will

I am just wondering how in the hell they can patch in the rear door openings, prep, paint and then finish everything else in 12-16hrs. Hell, the paint dosnt even dry in that short of time.
