I went back the next day on the way home from work and it was sold that quick. I checked it out tho it was pretty cool I don't know if I would do the conversion or not but I was pretty cool to see so I figured I would pass along the photo.

I agree with all of you and especially for that kind of price tag but thought it was interesting enough looking to pass it along. I agree if you want a truck buy a truck.

I just dont like anything about it. Not to mention 60 grand? you would have 70 in it at least after the mods you wanted..

Yeah, I saw this one last week when I was out there. These have been out for about a year now. The cost is so high because the kit itself is about $5500+ then there is about a 16 hour install time. This is all before lift and tire/wheel packages and many of the JK-8 conversion Jeeps are not Rubicons. I am not to sure about how functional/practical they are, but they sure are neat.

let me do that math and give the dealer the benefit of the doubt -

5500 (materials)
2500 in labor (rounding high @ almsot 160 per hour)
....thats 8k....

on top of a 27k dollar sport
brings it to 35k plus the lift (i bet its a boost/level) tires and bumper & lights ....call it 5k more

the best i can do is come up w/ 40k...not including the sale of the OLD parts (seat, top, carpet, wheels, tires) !

we're about 20k shy even by my crappy math !
