Thanks for the replies. I am still trying to figure out how to prevent them from getting soggy when I have the top off.

i mounted an ammo can for lockable storage. easily accessible thru the side window.

That's easy, use waxed cardboard boxes.

I went ahead and did this too... I was wanting a use for these little backpacks and this is a great idea... I put bungees, my freedom top screws, my winch controller and gloves... lots of room for more. I also have a few small luggage locks to keep the zippers closed when going topless.

Well you have gone that far might as well use saran wrap to keep them from getting wet. I think it will complement the look you are going for
