I think I have seen the color on a dodge charger/avenger today...it looks a lot more "pastel" or a lighter shade than what the previous pictures showed...maybe shallow water blue...not very deep

Sat on the phone with another dude for 10 minutes and he came up with this part number: 5KL66XDVAA- $40.76.

Sorry but they don't have any blue... I called a few dealers and was (not suprisingly) told with authority that they are not out yet. I even called the largest dealer in Toldeo and they have none (or so he said). Calling is no good tho. They may be unwilling to admit they have them because they want to clear out the old stock of 08's...

Well, I can tell you that we have not received an 09 yet, and you can't even build an 09 on Jeep.com yet, weird.

By the way, 5KL66XDVAA is incorrect for the new part number. I just looked it up on the parts catalog here at work and that is the part number for the panel on my 07, not the new one with the net.

WOW....40 beans US for that lil piece of plastic and mesh?!?

I think I'm gonna wait for one to rollover and go to the wreckers!!!
Maybe go to the dealer with a friend and see if you can manage a "test drive" without the sales guy. He probably wouldn't notice if you swapped the console piece.

Hey there....

Can anyone confirm (has physically moved one) whether the passenger seat on the 2-door is still the crappy slider and not the tilt/flip-up style like the TJ's had?

I'm looking to get into a new JK but was holding out. I was really hoping for the return of the flip-up in the '09s. If it's not there, I might as well save a few bucks and pick up one of the '08s sitting on the lots. Nothing major seems to have changed.

yes i did.... went to the dealer last night they have 4 new 09s and one was 09 2 door. and NO the seat does not tip it only slides just like the 08s...but for some reason it seams to be a lil bigger ..like there i more room to crawl in back somehow.... may have just been the light, it was starting to get dark....and none of the 4 09s were rubys so there was no tow loop on the back drivers side. the only diff i saw was the lil net thingy...but all he 08 rubys were 3000.00 off. and they are not dealing at all on the new 09s....they are full MSRP.... but for a loaded ruby 08 for 28,000 sounds great to me !!!!the sales manager even told me he would swap out the part for the new net thingy for free....
