Impressive!
I would have slowed some of the animations down just a little - like when the Rubi accelerates from the top of the hill and the rear wheels kick out.
But WOW. Sweet work!

Thanks for all the kind words! It's much appreciate. Lots of love went into making this animation and it's nice to see it enjoyed by the target audience
Here are some answers to your questions:
-The whole piece took 6 weeks to make by 6-8 artists. From storyboards to compositing. Sound Design happened in a couple weeks by another studio who does great work!
-I too wish this piece would be picked up by Chrysler and run. I think it shows the passion that Jeep drivers have and the need to go anywhere, do anything. And the Wrangler does make a great storm chase vehicle by the way! But this was only a sample for Chrysler which got a great internal review I hear.
-No, the MyGig doesn't have a radar function, nor is there plans to that I am aware of. That was thrown in by me as a wish and a hint to chrysler
-I agree some of the movement is a tad fast. The kickout was meant to spray much more mud than it currently does, and we just ran out of time. Our reference showed a real JK doing that slip, but it was hard to get just right in CGI.
Who knows, maybe this will get picked up one day for broadcast or at lest jeep.com. But I'm sure they would not have it intercept the tornado and no drop from the sky. Not without a MEGA legal disclaimer! Nice to do something without product people and lawyers involved for once
