Center Caps, or Not?

Ive never been a fan of the "no center cap" look. Those caps look really good though because of the small size and being the same color as the wheel. I would go with that.

My compromise is to run them on all the wheels but the spare.
I've mocked up some rear brake lights in the center of the spare, but haven't been pleased with any of them. Just about every option involves some kind of light that would have to be removed and would have to have QD wire connectors as well.
Or, assuming it is directly mounted to the tire carrier plate, if it sticks out at all you have the danger of smashing it with 100+lbs of Hutchinson/Toyo (not the easiest thing to wrestle up to the tire carrier).
I think the solution will be a row of red LEDs flush mounted in the face of the FabFour tire carrier so they show through the center hole of the rim. That, and some coiled wire to connect it to the factory brake light wires.
That way you won't have to screw around with anything when you need the rear tire.
Plus, the only place I prefer the no center cap option is the spare. It just looks better there without it.
