I have smaller dogs ( 2 30lb beagles) so i am torn between dirty dog and safari. Safari seems to have much more gap on the bottom and side front of the nets which would allow for the dogs to escape. Anyone found a way around this? Smitty net is ok but the sfari and dirty dog nets look much better

I love my safari straps! The customer service is amazing as previously mentioned. The quality is nothing short of perfect.

I made my own! 200' of black 3/8" rope and 4 hours of tying knots and figuring it all out. Cost $28 at an army surplus store. The dogs love it!

Neyyyce! Which knots did u use? I have about 300 ft of paracord laying around! And are still able to put the hardtop (or softtop) back on?

I just used overhand knots. I removed a few of the hard top mounting points so that I can run the rope through them. The bottom "anchor rope" can be easily de-threaded so that I can put the hard top back on for the winter without completely removing the entire net.

I went with the American Outlaw cargo net. I like that its not super thick and doesn't obstruct my rear view and lets the sun in when the top is off.
