That was my only concern. I didn't want to mess up the internals. As long as the key fob's battery doesn't die all of a sudden I should be fine though. I like the emblems, I did mine too. I did the jeep logo and trail rated badge. Just ordered matte black stickers to replace the silver ones

In the process of blacking out. Gonna plasti dip the wheels and key holes, tint the windows and tail & park lights, and put on matte black stickers

08 JK. Just removed factory stickers and bedlined the grill
