Going to be replacing my stock hood with the AEV heat-reduction one. Question is whether to have it painted in the factory black gloss paint or to have the shop do it with flat rattle-can paint. I think it would really stand out if I do it flat like this Ferrari, but would it look funky being just a hood against the rest of the body? What do y'all think?

Your JK looks really good. I also like the background shots. The street where you took the pics looks like one of those beautiful leafy older neighborhoods that are like Leave it to Beaver. Great Dutch colonials and the like. Love those types of mature neighborhoods. Ours is a young development and I'll be an old man before it looks as good as yours.

FYI - flat black paint is easy to paint. I just painted my Swagoffroad tailgate plate with primer and flat black paint. Looks AWESOME. I haven't done the other side, since I had to leave for work. Will do that tmw morning if it doesn't rain.
