Default bushwacker flat fenders on a stock rubicon!

Well I figured with such a nice weekend I should stick the fenders on. I took them off my wifes sahara and she got the rubicon fenders(we both like her jeep better without painted fenders)

I picked up a few cans of undercoat. Figured while I had everything off I would do a little spraying.

I drove it for a day without the fenders and wish I could drive it all the time like that... It looks badass
Next is a 2.5" lift and some 315/70R17 bfg A/T's

So when you install the bushwacker flares are you supposed to re-use the inner fender liner or no?? How long was the install??

You do re-use your old liners. they have to be trimmed to fit. I don't have my rear ones in since I broke to many clips removing them from the wife's jeep.

hmm I think it took me about 2.5-3hrs to switch both sets. But I didn't have to trim anything since I already did it when I put them on the wife's jeep.

Love the rubi! I plan on putting the flats on when I get home, I just had one question. Any particular reason for the paint? Or was it just for looks? Curious thats all...

Post some more pics once you have the wheels and lift on this thread please!!!

Later.

You can reuse or not reuse, up to you. I chose to keep mine on to keep engine bay cleaner.

The first one is a PITA but after the first one the other 3 go on much faster.

I did the line-x so that the fenders would rub that and not the paint.

I'll post some photos once I'm home.

Why do you have side steps on a Rubicon? Where did the rock rails go?

Why not I'm short. Plus they were on my jeep when I bought it. :-)
