I actualy got the idea from this forum some time ago. It's a 24" grab bar. Not realy sure if it's a Kohler / Moen / whatever. It came out of a junk pile. Sprayed on a couple coats of primer and a couple coats of black paint. So actualy it didn't cost anything because I already had the paint. I did spend a little extra on the P-Clamps ( PIAA I think ). But you could just as well go cheep there too. I went to a little extra trouble on the mounting because I wanted it to be solid. I used a couple pieces of 2" by 2" angle iron and bolted them to the frame ( I drilled and tapped everything to 1/4 - 20 ). Even though the bar works perfectly visualy. It only catches 1/2 the frame on either side. With the 2 by 2 angle, you can use all of the mounting holes on the bar. It is extreamly solid.
