Building the ultimate daily driver
We are in the process of building the ultimate daily. This rig is being built for my wife so we are looking for the best on road manners, yet it has to be very capable of off road. My wife is 5'2" so she needed a very practical step so we out fitted it with Hanson bumpers and rocksliders this last weekend. We are in the process of putting on a Full Traction 3" long arm on it. This jeep will see dirt and pavement everyday. We will tow a Starcraft tent trailer with it to events and camping trips. This jeep will carry my wife and daughter daily. It needs to be safe, comfortable, reliable yet capable.
The build list
08 Sahara with Nav and an Auto
Mastercraft Racing Seats
Hanson Bumpers
Full Traction 3" Long Arm
35" Tires
Lockers
Ramsey 9500 UT
Can't wait to get this baby finished

Nice
Should look and perform nicely when you're done.
But, when I picture the "Ultimate Daily Driver", I see something that gets 25-30 MPG....lol

Nice! So far so good. Mine is still geared toward being daily driveable, so I can't get too crazy with mods yet, hopefully in a couple years it will be strictly a pleasure/secondary vehicle.

I like the form/function of the Hanson sliders. I hadn't seen these before. Looks like a good pairing of protection plus a side step to keep my other half happy. Suppose I may need to put a pair on the savings list. Can't wait to see your finished project!
