Build Thread: Sierra Nevada Edition
Hey everyone,
I've been lurking for the last year and finally pulled the trigger on buying a new 2013 JK Unlimited Rubicon (True Blue, Auto Trans. w/ 4.10). As a first time Jeep owner, I thought it would be cool to have a writeup of the build process. I hope to receive help/insight from other members that have been down this road before me and help others that follow. Also, to be able to look back at the whole project later, like a scrapbook.
Since I live in the Central Valley of California with the Sierra Nevada mountains in my backyard I've decided that I would call my build thread "Sierra Nevada Edition". My goal is to build a daily driver that is also trail worthy (I want to do the Rubicon Trail in August). I plan to take advantage of some of the local trails and gain some experience on the easier trails at first.
Over the next few months I'll be updating this thread with my progress and questions about parts, mods, experiences and installs.

[QUOTE=inksterJK;3497129]Did the first photo shoot yesterday "stock".
That is a very good looking Jeep. I had a hard time finding the blue color around my area. Ended up with a Billet Sport, but the Blue was my first choice.
Edit: As stated above, I would go out stock and see how you like it.A leveling kit, a roof rack with 4 lights mounted above the windshield., front and rear bumpers with a winch. Skids. Then I would honestly say you are good to go unless your getting into some crazy shit.
