Copper metalizer plastidip was used to test the color on my gunmetal grey steelies. I'm going with XD 127 Bully wheels next in a 17x9 setup and painting the beadlock ring bronze. You'll only get this color with grey underneath. If you use black your color will be more copper and much darker. If you use white or silver you end up with gold.

I run the XD Bullys myself. I've had them since 2011 when I initially did my lift, tires, etc. Had the rock ring PC'd to match body color, or at least close to it. I've since put all sort of scrapes, scratches, gouges, etc. in them and they still look great! I've considered throwing a set of Walker Evans beadlocks on, but just can't make myself get rid of my XD's. They're different and not many people have them, even now.
So yeah....do it!
