PGsahara do you have 3.73 or 4.10 gears on your Sahara? I'm getting my Jeep soon and can't decide between the two.

Thanks for posting the larger pic!

As far as 3:73's vs 4:10 gears, you will notice the difference when you get bigger tires. Unless you are buying an 07, you can only get the 4:10 gears in a Rubicon starting in 08 model year, so that might sway your decision.

With 35"s and 4:10's, was not the best on the highway at 75 plus but put on an AirRaid and muffler back Borla and made a HUGE difference in power and mileage, gained about 3 MPG with both mods and not downshifting now. Would reccomend these two upgrades if you go bigger on tires before you decide to regear. I'm debating now on regearing, depends if i go up to 37"s now!

Thanks PGsahara and JKMAN. I'm new to the game so for now my plan is to take it easy and learn as much as possible, although I might put 33" wheels for now which should be OK with 3.73.
My main concern with 3.73 vs. 4.10 is 3.73 good enough for mild off-roading. I won't be doing any rock crawling so Rubicon might an overkill for me, I think.

Nice pictures PG!

I am glad I moved away from Smithers, BC to Revelstoke,BC to early for snow. Mind you...in about a month we should have a least 4 to 6 ft of snow in town. Already a few of my buddies have gone sledding in the alpine say there is 4 to 6 feet of snow last weekend.

I can't wait to get a hold of our 08 Jeep Sahara 4 door! I am gonna have to train my wife to wack the snow off the branches on the forestry/logging roads when we go out Elk and deer hunting!!!!
