Default Body mount damage

Went for a little offroading today and bent up my body mount. Anyone have any good ideas to repair and add strength to these.

The bolt looks bent as well. The should be fine if the welds aren't broke. I would leave it alone unless its definetly broke.

I am thinking about cutting it across about a quarter inch below the level of the bolt. Box it in with 3/16th and drill a hole big enough for a socket to get the bolt out.

i think thats overkill...i mean, whats done is done. Now when it rips the fuck out of the tub, then yes, you will have to come up with a repair. Youre sweating nothing

Im not sweating anything. I don't care if the thing rips off, but I like projects and it would be easy to do and provide a little protection.

Evidently the stock protection is not adequate. It bent the body mount bolt, so why not beef it. Whats the difference between that and people upgrading skid plates. We already have them, but people want better protection. I asked if anyone had ideas to beef it not if it should or not.
