Default BMD Evap Skid plate testing...

I installed my Benchmark Design Evap Skid Plate back in April. It has taken a beating since then. I had the Jeep over a pit at work to look at the bottom side, so I snaped a few picks of my evap skid.

From the front of the Jeep.

From the driver's side.

From the rear.

A little tweaking at the unsupported part of the frame.

All in all, it has taken some hits and protected the evap canister. The twisting is getting it close to the drive shaft, but I can not see any wear.

How does your BMD Evap Skid look?

A few more hits, the skid will go up into the EVAP. Then, you'll be out a skid, PLUS an expensive EVAP.

Evap canister is only like $50 or so from the dealer from what others have said. How thick is that skid?

Skid is 3/16" plate, and the supports are 1/4" plate. This is a few trips up to Rausch Creek trying out blues and blacks.
