Default blue ruby springs and 35's

after much debate and conversaton with people on this forum and locally I decided to paint my new springs blue...turned out pretty well.
I have a RC 2.5 BB and added 4 door hard top rubicon springs and i also put on skyjacker shocks for good measure.
Let me say that the ride with these springs and shocks is 100% better than just the BB with the shock extenders. I could not be happier.
The 4 door springs got me just under 1.5" in the back and just under 1" in the front on top of the pucks.
I was so happy with the way it turned out i went out and got some 35's to go with the new height.
Firestone Destination MT's....these look and ride awesome, i'm the second guy here in Madison to get these tires and we both are very happy with them.

okay, let the flaming begin on my blue shocks and new tires....

I have often wondered if this would work or not. I figured the paint would crack and fall off after compressing and decompressing.

Just sanded, primered and rattle canned. Not sure how it will hold up but it's under the jeep and usually covered in mud anyway so if it chips off not really a big deal.

You have me thinking about it more! I painted my shackles yellow with the same "who cares if it chips attitude". Did you leave your jeep up on jack stands while you painted and let the springs dry? How long did you let them dry for?

I was still on my stock springs when i painted the new rubicon ones..they dried in my garage for 3 days before we had a chance to put them on.

Ah, makes sense, I forgot you were replacing springs. I have been thinking how I would do it.
