I tried using the same type of paint and i could just peel it off with my fingernail after 48+ hours. Stripped it, sanded it, and cleaned it again. Then just used normal rustoleum spray paint and havent had the problem since

Tried to do that but the paint I had was too runny and it was such a pain trying to get it right, I said screw it and just bed lined over it.

Well the lug nut paint didn't stay on long at all so I had to bed line them too
