It shines through just fine. I also did the hinges and front blinkers today.

Here's the images of the lights

Here's a view of the blinker during a sunny day

Plasti dip is some pretty amazing stuff... I use it on a lot of stuff at work and around the home. Holds up to the UV rays great!

You need to get that JEEP logo on the front too.

I want to, but masking that seems pretty tough. How did you do that?

GBO!! How do you handle living around all those Gators?

I took fishing line and ran it back and forth behind them and it kind of saws the off with no damage to the paint.
I removed all the old two sided tape, scuffed them up with a Scotch Brite pad, then sprayed them.
I bought some new 3M tape at the auto parts store and reinstalled them. Much easier than masking them off.

As far as the Gator fans (I'm out numbered 100 to 1, even my wife) it's only their problem once a year usually.

I will root for any SEC team when they are playing any other conference teams.

And if you lie them down on your garage floor to do the work don't forget that they're there when you pull in quickly late one dark night. You can just guess why I warn.

Was tape left over on the grill to match up the letters so they would be straight? I might have to do that this weekend.

I'm kind of the same way, but I can't root for LSU. I just can't. Unless it's a bowl game. That's the only time I will pull for them.

That sucks!!! I leaned mine up against a wall. I will be touching them up this weekend cause I had some spots I couldn't get, and there were a few spots that peeled away when I was pulling off the tape.
