I haven't put keys in them because I have keyless entry BUT I can tell you the bedliner is TONS more durable than paint and plastidip

True, and that's what makes me want to use bedliner. But I don't have keyless entry, so I have to go old school. My concern is that a layer of bedliner will restrict the key and possibly cause the key not to work.

I didn't sand it at all. I just cleaned the surface and then taped off around it. The high heat flat black paint stuck just fine and held up to pressure washing for years.

Doesn't seem to, I use mostly the Sirius, but am fm seem to be same as always.

I had half a can of black paint and was bored one day. I taped off my locks and trail rated badges. They are still holding up.

Well, I did it. I bought Plasti Dip and painted the key holes. I also painted the taillights, antenna, and trail rated badge.
