i was introduced to the jeep wave sunday while driving with the top down. I passed a very cool older jeep not sure on what year but it was lifted and mostly yellow but covered in mud and the guy waved, and then a black one went by and waved too. They should really mention somethin that important when you buy the vehicle...i probably looked bad but oh well. I am now informed and educated about the jeep wave, so all is good.

Great looking jeep and welcome to the forum!! Great information by some truly knowledgable folks (I'm not one of them, I learn everytime I sign on here!).
Don't feel bad about the wave, I actually told my dealership salesman about it, had never heard of it...after I told him it was the "jeep wave" he started remembering people waving at him all the time while out on test drives with customers (he didn't have a JK at the time). Since driving his JK, he now complains when OTHER drivers don't return the Jeep Wave.
Best of luck on the mods, can't wait to see how "Wilbur" comes along!!
