Big dogs and jeeps... How do you get your dog in? (and a solution to help)
I got a few messages about how do i get my dogs in my jeep.
I have had 5 St. Bernards ranging from 120lbs, all the way to 235lbs.
two have had hip issues, and one is always riding around with me because she is a therapy dog.
This is what i use. It is from a company in illinois called pet loader. I have 0 to do with this company, but I have one of there steps.
this is it setup on my stock rubicon.
It locks in place, and works amazing!
for those of you who want to check it out, here is a link
Dog Steps, Dog Stairs, Dog Ramps from Pet Loader

Thanks

I sometimes lift mine, but my small one is 165, and my 1 year old puppy is almost 115 already.
Not the easiest to lift when they dont want to.
It also fold up really nicely too. I will take a pic of that 2morrow.
