Are you all pleased with these tires? I just had them put on a set of Mickey Thompson's along with a 3" Teraflex lift just 3 days ago.
After, I questioned if I just shot myself in the foot as obviously they won't chew through the most rough stuff out there, but as the Jeep is my daily driver and my off-roading is limited to weekends and an occasional trip, I had to think of tread wear and gas mileage first and rock crawling second.

You will be pleased with them. But for a more aggressive tread, try duratracs.

I find in mud there not that great. But for me I drive in a lot of snow and wet conditions so it's the tire I had to go with. I'm hoping I can get a second set of mud terrains.

These tires are really tough and will take one hell of a beating!

They are decent in the watery mud, but not so good in the soupy mud. They are great in the snow as well.

The duratracs are slightly better in the snow, and much better off road (mud)... due to the lug spacing.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy the BFG AT for the southwestern states. They are great for the long hauls and desert bashing. They would seem to be better on the rocks.

I ran the BFG on my old Cherokee and they got me where I needed to go.
