Piginajeep,
If your top is the current new and improved top, where did you order it from? I have read and re-read this thread and even been to the Bestop site and there are still many unanswered questions regarding the tailgate bar and how it works with the velcro. Please post pictures, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just found this on the Bestop website. Piginajeep posted the tailgate bar part number in another thread and it appears to be the same bar that is used with their deck cover which I already have. Step Number 3 specifies the trektop.

from speaking with Bestop, I was under the impression they are going to keep the design of thr trektop and sell the tailgate bar as an option for those wanting it.

Been in lots of snow and it has held up great. No rain, as it has not been warm enough for that stuff lately. I did take it through a car wash where it got stuck because the tires were too big. No problems with leaks at all. Only compaint is a little more wind noise, but when it warms up I think I will be able to fix it. So far I love it.

I've been thinking of getting this top instead of the factory soft top and I've come up with a question.
How easy is it to switch back to the factory hard top once you install this? I see that you need to add a snap strip to the back. Will that interfere with the installation of the hard top?
Thanks!
