Can't go wrong with a dash mount. Depending on the wheeling you're going to do and what you may or may not hit, bumper mounted will work too.

Check my videos on my YouTube page. www.youtube.com/skirmishstudios702

The Hotter Than Hell series we put GoPros everywhere. I have sticky mounts under my fender, under my rocker, on top of my steering stabilizer bracket and over my windshield. I use the suction cup on windows, the cowl, quarter panels, anywhere flat really. We dropped cameras in cracks in the rocks for an undercarriage shot, one guy has a stick with a mount on it that gets real stable shots from low angles, I use the suction mount as a handheld. The options are endless.

I find the wifi remote helps me keep files manageable and I can save battery power.

I use the suction cup mount on either top of front bumper, or on the hood close to the windshield for a good 'drivers' perspective

Here's the link to mine. I think mounted on my slider is the best for watching the wheels go over rocks.

High on the front windshield is where I like to mount mine with the suction cup. You get a nice wide view of everything in front of you. Here is an example... Goose Lake Trail, Red River, NM - YouTube
