Very mild burble at idle, nice low tone at cruise and a growl at acceleration. Never embarrassing or obnoxious.
Would you have the part numbers for the mufflers that you used? Your set up sounds exactly what I will want!

Part number 14619 (12619 non polished) was the one located in front of the rear axle. And 14249 (or 12249) is the one in the stock location.

I just got my Jeep back with the Hemi in it and as expected it is too loud. I have a 3" exhaust and I noticed the muffler you added in the back (stock location) is a 2.5 muffler. Any reason why you went from 3" to 2.5"?

Thanks,

This is what I ended up with... I had the muffler shop move the glasspack type of muffler I had and they added a Dynamax muffler. The difference is night and day! Sounds like a V8 at idle, but a quite one... Then when it is floored between 5000-7000 RPM, it opens up and is fairly loud. It is perfect!

We have another Hemi scheduled for this week coming up. I would like to do a dual 2.5" with 2 mufflers this time. One under the cab, and a smaller one in the stock location with dual side tips. Kind of like a resonator.

One of the benefits of owning a 4 door I guess.
