What did you used for hinges & latches?

Did you make the strapping yourself?

EDIT - Never mind, I found the thread...

It's a plastic plug to fill the hole left by the stock license plate mount.

Smile Stubby Bumper with Diamond Plated Covers

Used Stage2 Industrial adhesive to secure these to the cut bumper ends. Then used black silicone to frame the outside, it looks seamless.

Created a useful storage area on the "slide" above the radio. I used 1/8" aluminium stock 1 1/2" wide to fabricate a barrier around the "slide" and covered it with non slip shelf covering.

Default homemade sliders

I have found that when I am out offroading that the body mounts seem to vulnerable. So I decide to make some some skid plates. I made the drawings in Visio and then converted to AutoCad for the plasma cutter. Here are the results:

My favorite has to be the shelf in the cargo area. Though I've done many, many homemade mods, this has been the most useful one and has the added beneift of some protection when going around doorless and windows off. Yes, someone could just flip down the rear seat and pull something out, but I'm working on a way to lock the rear seat, going to require a little welding though and I don't have the tools or skills for that yet.
