Default Anyone plasti dip their hard top interior? post pics.

I want to plastic dip my interior but I want to see how other people done it before I start doing it tomorrow I'm so if you could post some pics that would be kind of awesome. I've seen 12 pics but no close ups on over hopefully it sound deadening and other plus he did it I did that anyone has. Please post your pics because you telling me doesn't help show me what it's going to look like. And personally annoying when people ask others to post pics of what they've done and all they do is tell you .

The Hothead Headliners would be a better option. Would probably look a lot better too, as well as provide some function versus just looking "okay".

Yeah here how's this. I actually rock guarded the whole interior. I think it looks great one of my friends did the same and out also looks great. Can't attest to Plasti dip but rock gaurd works great.

There was a post from a guy who did at least the freedom panels with black plastidip.
You need to remember that you've got some points of friction for the rotating tabs that you'd have to mask off to avoid peeling.
I thought about this and then decided against it. Plastidip is a bit porous and tends to absorb dust, etc., over time, and isn't quite as easy to clean as the hard inner surface of the panels. Of course, if it doesn't work, you can always peel it off.

The top surface is, as we all know, prone to chipping. Just today I used some black Rustoleum satin to paint one panel, and we'll see tomorrow how it turns out (the color match is pretty close).

The top of mine chipped way to easily, even when I used the bag mopar gave with the JK.
