I'd be afraid of the paint chipping off and having cracks...

What kind of prepping are you doing before painting it.

Also, what kind of paint are you guys using??

Did the prep work for painting the lid over the console require anything other than scuffing? I bought some spray paint from Mopar and it went on smooth and looked nice for about a week, then starting peeling off. Luckily, it was easy to peel the rest of it off like plastic wrap, but I'd like to try again.

Here are some older pics of mine, before I went to the MyGig, but should give you an idea. The black really looks good IMO. The flash on the camera really washed everything out. In person it matches the factory paint.

Looks good, but I would hate to be looking after them the whole time... I like it muddy on the inside and the outside!!
