Anyone painted interior parts to match exterior of jeep?

I love this! Just enough to add some flair but not too much to go overboard and look cheesy. Nice work!

Here is what I did.....color matched all of the grey plastic. The plastic center console around the shifter and cup holder is easy to scratch so I sprayed it black and then clearcoated it for extra protection. Also painted the vents, tweeters, mic bracket and door handle surrounds.
Is it holding?

I'd be afraid of the paint chipping off and having cracks...
What kind of prepping are you doing before painting it.

Did the prep work for painting the lid over the console require anything other than scuffing? I bought some spray paint from Mopar and it went on smooth and looked nice for about a week, then starting peeling off. Luckily, it was easy to peel the rest of it off like plastic wrap, but I'd like to try again.

Here are some older pics of mine, before I went to the MyGig, but should give you an idea. The black really looks good IMO. The flash on the camera really washed everything out. In person it matches the factory paint.
