Looks like Rustoleum is the way I will go. I'll try it tonight and post up some pics.

Thanks for the responses everyone!

I had mine powder coated a year ago and no signs of wear. It cost about five dollars each but you can't beat the durability.

if you can find the HAMMERED finish Rustoleum in the color you want, that stuff is the chit.

that would look really good ... but i HATE powdercoat for anything offroad. as soon as you scratch it, it'll rust under and just start popin and pealing it all off with no way to touch it up. if all these bumpers and sliders and stuff would come bare metal OR powdercoat, i think the manufacturors would find more ppl opting for rattle can.

I did mine with spray on bedliner. They hold up okay but, they do chip. They look nice though. Besides, I have a bunch of spray paint laying around.

I have painted mine red with rustoleum and when I use them to pull someone out or scrape them on roack they do chip but then I just repaint them. They hold paint well unless you use/ scrape them.

I bought mine painted from Fastenal. They are bare steel not galvanized like most. They repaint easy and it doesn't chip off.
