Anyone have pics of half doors?
Have been lurking around on a few forums but have yet to see any pics of an Unlimited with half doors other than the ones from DCX. I love the room and idea of having 4 doors, but i think it looks funny with full rear doors and the top off.
Was thinking of getting half doors for the summer and going totally topless, but also was thinking about leaving the full doors up front and doing just half doors on the back. for those in between times when you might have to put the top up.
Also thought it might have smoother looking lines if the half doors have black uppers like on the TJs and you did half doors on the back.
I really want to pull the trigger on a new Rubi 4DR but was hoping to see if I could find some more pics of half doors, hopefully as I have described.
Thanks!
Jeff
p.s. I miss my 04 X....dont ever let a woman talk you into trading your Wrangler in on a Liberty

I ordered my Unlimited Rubicon with half doors because I think the Unlimited doesn't look right with full doors, and the top off.
I don't think there are any production Unlimiteds with half doors yet.
I thought of the mixed door idea (full doors front, half doors rear), but half doors are only available as parts from Jeep, which is expensive.
I saw one of the few production two door rigs with half doors that are out there already. After I looked at it, I was much more comfortable with my choice.

Half Doors
I feel like the only one in the United States with factory half doors, and removable windows. But I actually like it alot. Mine came with these doors off the lot, half doors are avail as an option from Chrysler, but the full are not, full only avail piece by piece.
First time inserting PICS hope it worked....

1/2 doors on 4 dr Ultds......looks perfect to me
Each to their own, but I personally just don't like full doors on the JK, they look like the designers just forgot to finish up the project and said we're done. 1/2 doors are classic and no, I don't mind the plastic windows at all. If I wanted a nice tidy SUV I would have purchased one and not a Jeep, It's especially nice in the summer and never have to top on, as seen below.
