JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

Any pics of 295/70/17s on a 4 door?

Default running the cooper

I am running the cooper and it was a true 33 before 30k on them. stock moabs. slight rubbing under full turn. I took Eddie's advice and ajusted my stops with a thick washer. I noticed that after the lift no rubbing issue's. STT awesome tire does well under all conditions and even in the rain on the street. On dry pavement I have cornered sooo hard the all four were squalling. great tire. MTR is first choice, just way too expensive. Cooper very reasonable.

Yep, Nitto also makes the Terra Grappler in that size.

Personaly, with 3:73, I'd stick with the 295/70/17's. I prefer the little extra power of the additional 1/2 of tire! Plus, you have more tire choices.

I roll 305/70/17 goodyear MTR's--they measure a true 34.1"--like was mentioned before, very few 33, 34, 35" tires actually measure an actual claimed diameter.-I love my 34's bcuz of that, and bcuz they're cheaper than the majority of the 35's out there.

I've been checking out the MTRs as well since I'm torn between 33 & 35s.

How are they on the Rubi stock gear/auto combo? (I'm running that too)

I agree that the GY MT/Rs are great. I had them on my '05TJ and loved them. A bit loud once they start to wear, but that's true of almost every aggressive tread pattern tire. Not sure I agree with your comment about the cost though. The 305/70R17 Goodyear MT/Rs are the same price as the 35/12.50R17 BFG MT KM2s at Discount Tire and most places on the internet. The price of the tire is much more sensitive to the size of the wheel it is mounted on than the outside diameter of the tire. For instance a 35/12.50R17 tire may be up to $100 more expensive than the equivalent tire made for a 15" wheel (35/12.50R15).

Either way, the 295/70R17 and 305/70R17 sizes (~34" tire) are very nice on a lifted JK with a 2-3" lift. You can't go wrong with that size.

you're right about the price relevance. I got a good deal at Belle tire on my MTR's-they gave me about 75 bucks a tire for my stock km's-granted they only had approx 2k miles on them.-but, I know not everyone will get that deal. I would say to anyone in the market for the mtr's, that there may be some more bargaining power available to you. GY is releasing the mtr w/kevlar soon. maybe this will mean some play in pricing??:t
