Default Any one running a non-Chrysler engine?

All these swaps, Z and M used to make a swap kit for 5.0s in older wranglers and there were plenty of 350 kits out there (a kitten just died when I typed 350). With hall the electronics you might just end up with the body and chasis and old school straight wired stuff.

There is a JK with an LS2, but I think he switched to completely different gages and everything.

LS2s would be a much better swap than the Hemis in terms of performance, but the wiring, electronics, etc. would be a PITA!!!!!

can you post some details I would be very interested in doing a LS2 swap.

My warranty is finsihing soon and I dont like the electric gizmos in a jk anyway.

As long as I can retain the ABS brakes I am happy with LS2.

Off Road Evolution's page, Straight to Ridiculous is the build. Might do a search here too, as the owner has posted before and was pretty good about answering questions; HolyMolyRacing. Supercharged LS2 est. 600hp.

I did it. No kit everything custom.

Easy to do, cut out everything, cry a little, go to bank and take a loan out....then LS2 with Magnacharger fits right in like it was made for it.

www.offroadevolution. See galary. looks like their web site isn't working right
also wayoflife posted some on Project-JK.

Works good and I have more hp than any other JK in the USA!

Its actually not very hard to get a V8 approved in a vehicle that didn't come with a V8 in CA. One of the keys is you need to have an engine thats of the same year, or newer. And it needs to have the emissions equipment that the engine would have had in whatever car it came from. Although there are ways around that as well. Once its all in, you have to go to a referee station and have it certified.
