ANOTHER video for anyone who ever doubted the recon winch
A few months back, I recoved a box truck with my recon winch.. Here's a link to the thread:

Today, a friend called, and informed me that while trying to widen a creek, he got 'stuck' and needed someone to winch him out.. I gleefully accepted, grabbed my camera and went for it!
I tied off to a tree, and hooked up my winch cable... then realized that the bobcat isn't stuck.. it's dead. Probably hydro locked.. as the engine is 75% under water... and the hydrostatic transmission can not be disengaged either... Dead weight with tracks.. extreme ground contact... not the best conditions.. Here's the video:

Pretty cool video....Like someone mentioned somewhere around the 7 min mark, don't want to be close to the chain in case it breaks.....really surprised you didn't use a dampener just in case, can never be too safe. Especially with many people around....tough winch though and great job on the recovery...
